Before building Forager, I spent over a decade as a healthcare IT director at two major health systems. I ran end-user services across multi-hospital divisions — managing field teams, data centers, and enterprise device programs, and leading Cerner activations in complex clinical environments. The work required coordinating across facilities teams, clinical leadership, third-party vendors, and compliance officers simultaneously, under timelines that didn't move.

In that time I watched every major asset tracking approach fail the same way: not because the technology was wrong, but because updating a record took longer than ignoring it. So people ignored it. Audits became guesswork. Equipment went missing between shifts.

I built Forager because I knew exactly what the tool needed to do — and I'd never seen anyone build it right. Two taps. Five seconds. Compliance record written. That's the design goal, and everything in the platform exists to protect it.
